Protocol changes that move the numbers, and corrections where this site was wrong. Both belong here. A learning site that only publishes its successes is not showing you its accuracy, it is showing you its editing.
The Innovation Allocation begins. The SubgraphService rewards manager drops from 120.73 to 96.584 GRT per block, with the difference routed to the Foundation treasury through an existing DirectAllocation contract. Total issuance is unchanged; its destination is not. Indexers and, through them, delegators receive 20% less issuance than before this date, so any reward rate computed from earlier data describes a larger pot.
Seven role-based paths, 44 lessons, a 23-entry parameter registry and a freshness system that fails loudly. Every protocol number was read from its source on this date rather than carried over from the previous site, which taught Cobb-Douglas rebates, L1 bonding curves and the Hosted Service until it was retired.
Reading the sources for the registry turned up three places where official pages disagree with each other or with the shipped software. The tokenomics page still describes a delegation tax that Horizon removed. The delegating page and the Horizon changes page give different limits for simultaneous undelegation requests. The indexing overview describes indefinite allocations while the Horizon changes page says the shipped stack still recycles them. All three are recorded rather than resolved, and each names the contract that would settle it.
Stake becomes provisioned against named data services rather than pooled generally. The delegation tax is removed. Slashing becomes flexible, judged by arbitrators within a cap. Allocations may in principle remain open indefinitely with periodic POIs, though the shipped indexer stack continues recycling them at launch. The technical capability to slash delegated stake is introduced and left switched off for the Subgraph Service.
How this list stays honest
When this site turns out to be wrong, the fix goes in and a correction goes here. Silently editing a page and moving on would leave every reader who acted on the old version with no way to know.
